Reward for Greening Up

Our friend Naomi helped to clean up our city on Green-Up Day.  She recently got a prize for participating.  Here she is with her "Get Air" socks and voucher (I THINK for a trip to Get Air!)

A VERY long time ago I participated in the first every Green-Up Day in Vermont.  It is so nice to see that this great tradition continues 100 years later!  Well, maybe not 100 years later, but 1970 was a LONG time ago!!  What a great way for our children to learn about taking care of our environment.
